Course Fee:
Initial Course Instructor Fee – $200.00
Includes all Course Observations and Teach-backs to become certified as an Instructor.
Course Length: Up to 24 Hours
Certification Expiration: 1 Year. Each Instructor must teach a minimum of one class a year to maintain your instructor status.
Instructor renewal fees are $35.00 per year and permit you to instruct classes for another year.
Upon successful completion of an Instructor Course, you, as an Independent Instructor, will be able to set the price of your class, along with the course date and time.
This course is recommended for those individuals who have no medical background. The training you receive will prepare you to instruct the Basic CPR/AED/1st Aid Programs.
This course provides a foundation for setting and presenting an ASHI Basic CPR/AED/1st Aid Program.
You must possess a valid Basic CPR/1st Aid Card to take this course.
Upon completion, the new instructor must set up two classes and teach before an Instructor Trainer.

Mileage is based upon the IRS recommended rate of .55 cents per mile round trip. All fees will be split between all course participants. All book and supply fees are non-refundable and must be paid during registration. Class registration fees and all applicable taxes may be paid with the book and supply fees, or you may pay the remaining fees at the start of the class. Cash and Credit Cards are accepted.
